Monster High School

Frankie Stein is one of the most popular ghouls at Monster High. When she begins school however, she’s only 15 days old and very insecure around the other monsters. Frankie is the daughter of the scientist Victor Frankenstein from the monster movies and his bride. Like the monster her father created, she has pale green skin, energized bolts sticking out of her neck, and is stitched together from parts. Frankie also has one green eye and one blue eye - they positively glow.  She lives with both of her parents in a house that looks like a “cross between a Swiss chalet and a research lab”, according to the official Monster High website.

Frankie Stein loves to dance and Justin Biter is her favorite singers. She’s clumsy though and tends to lose some of her stitched on parts when she dances, which can be a source of embarrassment. Her best ghouldfriends are Draculaura, Lagoona Blue and Clawdeen Wolf. Frankie is very smart, being the daughter of a scientist and all, so she also gets along well with Ghoulia Yelps, who is the smartest ghoul at Monster High. Frankie is a very kind, thoughtful, and inquisitive monster, but because she’s so young she is still a bit naive. She is a bright student according to her instructors. She is especially good at learning rote skills and information.

Frankie becomes a member of the Fearleading Squad at Monster High soon after starting school. Cleo de Nile is the captain of the fearleaders and isn’t too keen on Frankie in the beginning. Evidently Frankie had a crush on Cleo’s boyfriend Deuce Gorgon when she first came to Monster High. Once she found out he belonged to Cleo she backed off but the tension between Frankie and Cleo remains.

Fashions quickly became one of Frankie’s main interests in her first 15 days. She has some wickedly cute outfits. And because she’s stitched together her hands come off, making it easy to for her to change clothes. Her style is preppy and she wears a lot of plaids with lightning bold designs. Her basic doll outfit is a green and black plaid dress with a while collar and puffy sleeves. When she visits Gloom Beach with the rest of her creepy friends she wears a trendy blue and yellow striped one-piece swimsuit with a plaid wrap around her waist. She has several other freakishly fabulous outfits that can be found on her doll selections or sold separately.

Some fun facts about Frankie’s electric personality:

• When she gets shocked by electricity, she claims it to be "refreshing".
• She can’t swim because the other monsters in the water would get electrocuted.
• When her bolts are switched from their correct sockets, they magnetize her and cause metal objects to fly.

You will adore Frankie’s pet puppy named Watzit.  He contains parts of a puppy, kitten, dragon, fish, and other creatures that her father stitched together.  He loves to cuddle with Frankie, especially her soft version.  Watzit follows Frankie everywhere so you will see him in all of her doll versions.
